His suspicion

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Jamal let out a struggling breath as Arlo's hand tightened around his neck. He tried taking his hand off, but Arlo's grip was made out of steel. Impossible to get it off his neck.

"What the hell are you doing? Put my son down right now!" Luther yelled. His eyes flickered from how unnerved the situation was making him feel.

"I will, right after I've choked the last breath out of his body!" Arlo threatened, tightening his grip.

He wasn't exactly sure if he could really carry out his threat of killing Jamal. Despite how much he hated Luther and everything related to him, he had to remember that Jordy had a bit of a soft spot for Jamal. Killing him would be putting her in a lot of pain. And that was one thing he'd never do to her.

But the threat was necessary to make Luther reflect on his wrongs and realize that he wasn't someone he could trifle with and get away with it.

"Put Jamal down right now!" Luther raved, trembling from the tide of rage that enveloped his body.
