CHAPTER 27

“You have to eat something.” Ace insisted for the fifth time.

Lost in her thoughts, Cameron just looked at him. Last night had been one of the toughest in her life. She couldn’t sleep. She had spent all her night crying, imagining and taking back memories that seemed to just be a lie. Her grandfather had lied to her. Her grandfather had negotiated with her like she was a kind of an object, he made her marry to that heartless man who never touched his heart to humiliate her.

“Cameron, Cameron, please.” Ace said.

“I don’t want to eat. I-I… Everything seemed to be a lie now. I don’t know where I’m stepping on. Suddenly, all my plans to go overseas are smashed just for a person who wears m own face like it was of her.”

Ace could perfectly understand that the more time it went by, the harder it’d be to believe she had a twin sister that no one talked about in her past.
