Chapter 10: What Are You Doing?
After I take Marissa out and buy her a few new things, she feels so much better and smiles from ear to ear.  It helps me get Brad off my mind for a little while and then when we get back I wait for him.   In the middle of the afternoon, he finally gets home.  Sitting on the couch watching T.V., I notice that when he strolls in, he acts like nothing has happened.  Carrying in a few plastic bags from the grocery store and wearing a huge smile on his face, he looks really good I have to admit.  I sit up and watch him. Standing up and yawning, I approach before he can reach his bedroom and stop him in his tracks.  Staring into his eyes, I ask,  "Brad, who was the woman you had in your room?" Cocking my head, while watching his smile disappear and his face scrunching up into an angry scowl, I wait for an answer.  He lets go of the bags and grabs ahold of me, slamming me against the wall.  One hand on my neck, the o

Chapter 11: Where Art Thou?
A few days later, I am walking around the grounds and see Dean talking to a young female that Brad must have just hired.  Not immediately recognizing her, I walk over to introduce myself and to break up their party.  They must hear me approach, because they both turn to face me and the girl smiles.  Looking up at Dean, I notice that he doesn't however. Feeling a twinge of jealousy spreading throughout my being, I try to quickly dismiss it, but end up making a fool of myself.  I ask, "So, Dean is this your new play thing?"   He glances at me coldly and then stares off into space behind me.  "No, Ma'am.  This is my cousin Sam.  She just moved here when I got out of jail and she needed a place to stay.  When I told her I was working here, she expressed that she needed work and I asked Mr. Harrison if he could use any extra help.  He told me to bring her in today and he instantly hired her as soon as he saw her."

Chapter 12: The End of a Long Day
Sitting down on Dean's couch, I wait patiently for Sam to make dinner while Dean takes a shower.  I don't quite know what to do with myself until Dean walks out of the bathroom with a towel on, looking hot as hell.  This is actually the first time I have seen his biceps and pecks that only peeked out of his shirts before. Looking like a god straight out of Olympus, he glances at me and winks.  Motioning for me to come to him, I stand up quickly and practically run over to where he is standing.  I look up and wait for him to say something.  Demanding more than asking, "You want to see what I have under this towel for you?" He smirks and after checking to make sure Sam is still in the kitchen, he unwraps his towel.  Staring at me proudly, he shows off his rock hard erection and then covers back up before anyone else sees him.  Laughing, he runs his hand through his hair and asks, "So, do you want to be dessert?" Lickin

Chapter 13: Imprisoned In My Own Home
After relaxing in the bath this morning, I slather rose fragranced lotion on my skin to make it ultra soft.  I have to do something to calm myself, because now Brad is treating me like a prisoner in my own home.  Last night, I went to go ride Nelly and he demanded to know where I was going. Glaring at him, I answered, "None of your business.  Since when am I a prisoner here?  I shouldn't have to answer to you for my actions.  Certainly not since you don't care about me at all, just how things look."  At that, he walked out and didn't come back till this morning.  Early around 7, I heard him slam the door shut and march to his room with heavy feet.   Till now, I haven't dared to leave my room and as soon as I find an outfit to wear, I will go visit with Marissa in the kitchen.  Brushing my hair, I work out all the snarles and then put my hair up in a braid before dressing.  While I look around my closet, I wonder

Chapter 14: Heaven On Earth
I manage to escape the house without Brad noticing and run to the stable.  Hoping that Dean is there, I look all over for him but don't see him anywhere.  Strolling over to Nelly, I brush her down and rub her nose.  When she snorts, I produce an apple from my pocket to give her.   Before I am able to give it to her, I feel hands circling my hips and turning me around.  Ready for a fight, I tighten my fists and put them up to hit Brad if necessary, but he isn't the one with a grip on me.  Instead, I am face to face with Dean.  Or I should say, face to chest. Tilting my chin up, I stare into his eyes as he leans down to kiss me.  His grip on my waist tightening and raising me up, so I can wrap my legs around his.  Once my legs are crossed behind his back, he lowers his hands to my butt and leans me up against the wall of the stall.   Rubbing his nose on mine, he snickers and nods his head at Nelly.&nbs

Chapter 15: Things Start To Unravel.
Not knowing what to do with myself the rest of the day, I call Nicole.  "So, when are you coming to visit?  Brad has me under house arrest and I need so badly to hang out with you.  Besides, something interesting has happened and I think I might be in love." Screaming over the phone, "Girl!  You are what?" "O.K., calm down.  First of all, I need to tell you what happened to me today."  After taking a deep breath and exhaling, I recount everything from the day to her.   Hearing her sigh, she says, "I will be on the next plane, have a room ready for me." I automatically start laughing thinking that she is joking, but then I hear her yelling to someone in the background.  When she starts talking to me again, she says, "I am dead serious.  You need your best friend there right now and if I don't get to take a look at this hot ass man, I am going to get really mad.  All the guys here are not hot at all

Chapter 16: The Party Has Just Begun
Deciding to go to a completely different bar down the street, we park in the back so Brad won't find us.  On the way, I call the hotel and pay for three rooms for the night.  Nicole snores like a bear and Nora is such a light sleeper, she would never be able to go to work tomorrow if I didn't.Stepping inside, I know this was the right choice.  Hearing my favorite song, I take it as a good sign and relax for the first time in several days.  Both Nicole and Nora seem to be happy that I have relaxed, because the next thing I know they have grabbed drinks and are sitting at the table waiting for me to get mine and join them.Watching the bartender make it, I glance around the room at everyone and see someone very familiar sitting in the corner.  Sam is at a table with another woman a little older than her and she is sucking down drink after drink.  I get the feeling that they have known each other for a very long time and decide not to say hi

Chapter 17: Your Touch
Everywhere he touches me with those perfect hands, I feel hot sparks on my flesh.  His teeth grate across my skin and I cry out, but the need for his kisses flows through my veins like lava even more.  A sense of urgency grows deep inside of me, boiling over and making me scream out into the night.  I wake up in a cold sweat and feel my underwear wet between my thighs.   Tearing the soaked sheets off the bed and throwing them in the hamper, I take a nice long hot shower.  I drown in my own sorrow, sitting on the floor of the shower and letting the hot water pour over me.  Always finding the shower therapeutic, for some reason this time all I can do is cry. Why did I tell him I love him?  Too many men can't deal with the "L" word.  I recall the night Nicole told Jeremy that she loved him, he freaked out and left to never come back.  It's sad that he chose to go into the military rather than be with her, but in reality

Chapter 18: Consequences Of My Actions
A few minutes later, Brad slams the door shut behind him and follows me into the kitchen.  I turn around to face him wild eyed and ready for a fight.  Having enough of all of this, I simply don't care any more about deceiving him and want to get it all out into the open.   Before he can speak, I say coldly, "You don't have a right to say anything to me!  The minute we got married you ignored me and treated me like I was a stranger in my own home.  Till you start actually acting like my husband and not my captor, I refuse to even listen to your bullshit."  I turn away from him to pour a cup of coffee when he grabs my arm painfully and forcefully turns me around. Staring into his eyes, I can tell that he is at the edge and if I don't watch it, I may end up getting hurt before this day is done.  Calming down, I try to back away but he won't let go of his grip on me.  Looking down at his knuckles, I see the white skin forming

Chapter 19: Back Home
Sitting in my chair by the side of the bed, I stare out the window at the rain falling down.  The  pitter-patter calms my inner turmoil enough to allow me to concentrate on the problems at hand, but I still have to wonder if coming home was the best option.  This morning, the doctor let me go when Brad showed up and he promptly took me home.   Not saying a word on the way back, I sank into my seat and hoped that he wouldn't bring up anything today.  Unfortunately, he had to threaten me again and cause problems.  Finally back, I rushed upstairs to my room and hid before anything else happened.   Listening, I think I hear a faint knock at the door.  Standing up and facing it, I stroll over casually because I believe I am hearing things.  Right before I get there, I hear it again.  Opening the door a crack, I look out and scan the hallway.   I watch as Sam knocks on Brad's door.  When it
