2:1- The Hidden Princess
Crysanthi POV "Your tea, Your Grace." Jasmine spoke, pulling me from the book I was immersed in. She was a pale petite little thing with silver hair & violet eyes, but she was a faithful servant to me. I respected that she took good care of me, even if she was only doing it on Azak's orders, which I didn't believe she was. Most of the other servants in the palace wouldn't even look at me when they passed me. They were still caught up in the past and the division of our Kingdom. They were too stubborn to realize that a new era was upon us, that the future of our Kingdom relied on our ability to unite as one. Soon they would have no choice but to understand that the unity of our Kingdom was imminent since Azak & I had discovered that we were fated by the divine Goddess. I knew it the moment he popped into the cabin just after Papa exploded into a zillion tiny shimmers. He must have felt his death because he showed up within moments as I sat there crying. My Papa was

2:2- Not The Only One
Crysanthi POV I could sense he was a wolf, an evil bastard of a wolf, but he wasn't a rogue. He was a pack wolf, but the rest them in the building were rogues. He was working with them, and the dark witch standing next to him. There was another witch in the building too, but she wasn't very powerful, which only made me further question what I had teleported into. "I think I'm the one who should be asking that. What is going on here exactly?" I spoke with all the authority I could muster, given the confusing situation. The witch started mumbling some sort of spell, so I instinctively reacted. "I don't think so, witch!" I exclaimed as I put my hand out to freeze time. As I froze time, all I could think about was the way my father used to scold me, telling me that freezing time should only be used in the most dire of situations. I rationalized his scolding by telling myself that this was infact one of those situations. I had no idea where I wa

2:3- A Royal Dinner Guest
Crysanthi POV When I walked into the dining room a few hours later I kept my head held high as I strolled to my seat. Azak was already sitting in his usual spot at the head of the table and I was nervous about the conversation that I knew would soon transpire. I had left his office so quickly that I hadn't given him time to get a word in about my choices, and I was sure he had plenty. Luckily Genevieve would be joining us for dinner so he wouldn't have much time to belittle me before she arrived. As I took my seat next to him his eyes never left my body, watching my every move as though I may try to harm him after my outburst this morning. Surely he didn't think that little of me, or atleast I hoped he didn't. It seemed that he was the only being on this planet that I couldn't read, and I'm sure I have the fated bond to thank for that. I sat down in my seat before lifting my eyes to meet his. I was surprised when I found him smirking gorgeously at me and couldn't help bu

2:4- Dinner for Three
Azak POV I stood there in disbelief as she strutted away from me after scolding me. I wanted to be furious with her, but I was too damn proud of her for standing up for herself. I knew I hadn't been fair to her since I brought her back to the palace, but I had only been trying to protect her from the dangers of this world. Sure enough though, she had found them on her own. I stood there going over her words to myself as I processed them. Princess Genevieve, the Wolf Timekeeper Princess was alive and now she was safe thanks to my Princess. I found it amusing that she and Rayan were mates, especially since Crysanthi and I had been fated together as well. That was another thing that concerned me, being fated to her. She was so young and inexperienced in life, especially since she had grown up so secluded. I had no idea what to say or do around her most of the time, so I just kept her as far away from me as possible. Sure I wanted to keep her close, I wanted to let

2:5- Training with the Wolf Princess
Crysanthi POV He disappeared out of the room before I could even open my mouth to ask what was going on. I wasn't sure what had gotten into him, but the tingling left behind from his touch had me floating. Perhaps hearing Genevieve speak about her mate had sparked something within him. I could only hope that he would continue to be affectionate towards me, though I knew by how quickly he had fled that it was unlikely. All I wanted in the moment was his touch, but I knew that if I dared to go to his quarters he would only turn me away. So, I opted to shower & turn in for the night instead. As I showered I allowed myself to continue to float on the cloud his kiss had put me on. I wanted to be close to him, to experience the closeness that Genevieve spoke of experiencing with her own mate. I wanted that for Azak and me. I knew it was a long shot though, especially since he was so closed off and refused to even be near me most of the time. I had no idea how the two o

2:6- Girl Talk
Crysanthi POV It was an hour before Genevieve came back to the palace. One of the servants found her laying naked in front of the palace doors so they grabbed her a robe so she could go up to her suite to change. It was another 45 minutes before Ivy brought her into the library where I was reading a book about Azak's kingdom. She seemed quite excited to enter the library and I knew that much like myself, she enjoyed having knowledge at her fingertips. She sat down next to me and leaned over to glance at the book I was reading. "What are you reading? Looks pretty interesting." She spoke through a smile. "It's a book about this kingdom. I'm just trying to learn all that I can about it since I'm to be it's queen one day." I answered her, never looking up from the page. "One day? You'll be it's Queen when you come of age, won't you?" She asked me curiously as she leaned back in her seat. I took the opening to talk to her about Azak, because I did

2:7- Communication
Azak POV I had to walk from the princess as soon as Genevieve took off into the forest. I just didn't trust myself alone with her. Everything in my body wanted her close to me, but I knew that if I gave into the urge I would never let her go. It was easier this way, to keep myself secluded from her. I knew she would never understand, but until she came of age, this was the best choice for both of us. I was sitting in my office going over some kingdom paperwork when there was a knock on my office door. I sensed her from the other side of the door, and though I knew I shouldn't answer it, I couldn't help myself as I stood. I opened the door to see the magnificent beauty that my mother had created for me and once again I found myself in awe of her. I had to admit, the goddesses had truly outdone themselves in creating the timekeeper princesses. Crysanthi was everything I had ever hoped to find in my fated, and Genevieve, well she well she was truly incredible. Her warrior skills alone

2:8-Bonded
Crysanthi POVThe week flew by having Genevieve to keep me company. When the time came for me to portal her back to her mate, I was incredibly sad, though I knew that I would see her again. I was afraid of which timekeeper would show up when I jumped over the solstice. There were some dimensions where the Vampire King had gotten to me and raised me in his own image. In those dimensions I was hell bent on taking over the supernatural community, but Genevieve was the only thing standing in my way. It was one of the reasons I was so shocked to find her alive in this dimension. I had never jumped to a dimension where I was still good and she was alive, it seemed she only lived in the dimensions where the Vampire King had taken me. My best guess was because the goddesses found it necessary to maintain balance once I had been turned evil. Either way, I didn't want to risk an evil version of me jumping into my body and taking advantage of the fact that she was powerless. I wouldn't lose my n

2:9-Freak Attack
Azak POV I felt it the moment the bond snapped into place. Suddenly I could feel her every emotion. I could feel the way she felt about me, how badly she wanted my acceptance and love. I felt how rejected she felt by me, and it was all too much. I wanted to love her, I really did, but I was afraid to. I'd taken many lovers over the years, but I had never had a fated light for myself before. The idea of having her as my own terrified me. What if I messed this up? Crysanthi was definitely a special gift, so I feared that I would destroy her as she tried to love me. What if I wasn't capable of being loved? The thoughts swirled in my mind so I panicked and retreated to my quarters to think. I could still feel her in the palace, so I felt as she came closer, looking for me. The way our bond had snapped into place was mesmerizing to me, we had only been feeling the initial effects of the bond, but when both of us expressed our desire, it snapped into place. It was crazy how fas
