Chapter 69

Hayden's POV

I tucked Sarah into bed, and waited a bit till she fell asleep. I still couldn't believe I had been asleep the entire time she was going through hell.

I had woken up the next morning to receive a call from Ray about Sarah.

I slowly and quietly walked out of the room, heading outside the mansion.

My phone began ringing, and I immediately brought it out from my pocket. It was Ray calling.

"Did you find out anything?" I questioned on the phone.

"No, nothing suspicious for now. Checked all the CCTV footage, and there was absolutely no one there."

"That's not possible, Ray. Someone out there is trying to hurt Sarah, and I know it. Check the names of all workers in the company the day of the accident, and if there's anyone suspicious, tell me immediately."

"Do you think it could have been that bastard?" Ray questioned.

"I don't think he had the guts to do such a thing.. It's someone who knows a lot about Sarah as well."

"Alright, I'll look into the situation some more and call
