Chapter 41

With horror, Jennifer locked eyes with him as he glared back in his feeble state, causing a shudder to run through her.

“Why are you saying this?” She asked with a soft voice.

“Just get out. I don’t need to eat anything,” Raymond ordered.

Jennifer shook her head, adamantly refusing to go out. Her heart was filled with care and concern for him, making it impossible to fathom staying away now that he was sick.

“No. I won’t go out.”

He closed his eyes as if he was controlling his anger.

“You better get out before I do something to you.”

“Raymond, why are you behaving like this? What did I do? I made porridge because Robin told me to do so.”

Raymond cleared his throat to let out his voice. “Get out.”

Jennifer stood defeated in the presence of the man. She did not want his health to make him nauseous again.
