Natalia:

I walked back to Damien whose smile could be seen a mile away. His eyes seeming lit as he looked at me being relaxed. His words earlier having relaxed me a lot, not to mention the dance seemed to lighten my mood up.

He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me to his chest, softly kissing my forehead as he did. He knew that I was both nervous and frightened about everything, but he also knew that I was good at masking my own fear when it came to such situations. I didn’t want people to look at me as weak, and I didn’t want to embarrass him either. But I was thankful for him being as understanding as he was.
