Chapter 11

Aliza's Point of View

"I am from the future," I said and Kayla was silent for a moment before responding

"What?"

"I came back from the future," I said and she started laughing hysterically.

"Oh, you are so funny. You almost had me there," Kayla said still laughing

"I am being serious," I said as I stared at her with a serious expresson on my face. Kayla instantly stopped laughing and look at me.

"You are being serious," Kayla said

"Yes, I am," I said

"Okay, well it is getting late and I am getting tired so maybe you should go," Kayla said

"I know you don't believe me, Kayla but what I am saying is true. I came back from the past," I said

"I can tell you believe what you are saying but..."

"Look, Kayla. I know you think I am crazy but I'm not. I really came back from the past," I said

"Yeah, sure you did," Kayla replied obviously not convinced

"I can prove it to you," I said

"How?" Kayla asked

"I know that your favorite color is purple, your favorite food is chick-fil-A. You love dancing and you are a cheerleader ," I said

"That doesn't prove that you came back from the past. Someone could have told you those things," Kayla said

"I also know that you hate Catherine. You said that she isn't a good person and that I shouldn't trust her. I wish I would have listened to you," I said. Kayla was about to say something but I spoke before she could. "I also know that you are in love with Jeffrey Manning. He is one of the football players at White River High. You hope he turns out to be your mate," I said. I could tell she was thinking about everything that I said so I kept talking. "I also know that your dad wants you to become a warrior like him but you want to be a Pack Doctor," I said

"How did you know that?" Kayla asked

"I already told you. I came back from the future," I said

"That is impossible," Kayla said

"When you were ten years old you almost burned the kitchen up because you were trying to make your parents breakfast at three in the morning," I said

"Shh," Kayla said and she looked around like she was worried that someone would hear me. "How do you know about that? No one knows about that," Kayla said

"You told me because we are best friends," I said

"I can't believe you came back from the future," Kayla said after I finished telling her everything that happened.

"I still can't believe I came back from the future. It is crazy," I replied

"So the Moon Goddess gave you a second chance. You must be very special for her to do that," Kayla said

"That is what she told me. She said I was meant to do amazing things. I just don't know how I am supposed to beat Catherine. She has a lot of the Pack on her side. The messed up thing is I don't know everyone that is on her side. I don't know who I can trust. Well, besides you and a hand full of other members," I said

"I knew Luna Catherine was evil. I can't believe her nephew is your mate and he betrayed you," Kayla said

"I still can't believe it either. I thought he loved me. He acted like the best mate and then he betrayed me," I said remembering how nice Cain was to me before he betrayed me. "He will be here tomorrow. I am worried because he is coming sooner than he did in the past," I said

"I think it is because you are doing things different. You said the first time you moved here you ended up moving into the Packhouse and you weren't speaking to your mom because she lied to you about who your father was, right?" Kayla said

"Right," I replied

"Well, maybe she is changing her plan since you aren't mad at your mom this time," Kayla said

"I guess, but why would she call him here? They don't know we are mates yet," I said

"I think he was always planning on helping her, even before he found out you were mates. You said that he thought that she was going to make him Alpha but really she was planning on making Josh Alpha. Luna Catherine has been playing him just like she played you. No offense," Kayla said

"None taken," I replied and let out a sigh. "I don't care if Catherine is playing Cain. I am not going to accept him, now. Not after everything he did," I said

"I don't blame you," Kayla said

"Well, I should head home," I said

"Okay, I will take you home," Kayla said and we headed to her car. I was happy that she beleived me. At least I had one person I could talk to about everything.
