Chapter Twenty-Two.

Andreas’ POV.

“Andreas- No, don’t!”

My hand hangs at my side, wet and dripping with blood. The room is tensely silent with the only sound being that of the dripping blood from my hostile attack just now. My eyes switch from being wide to squinting with scorn as my lips twist aside to spit a rank hiss.

“To think you would step in to protect him,” I begin in a low rattling voice. “Are you trying to imitate Mother? You think you can become anything close to the fool she was?” I give a short cruel laugh, grinning at him with feral belittling eyes.

My reflection glares at me from the bent position he maintains before the little boy. His arms wrap protectively around the shivering boy and on his porcelain immaculate face, is a healing slash on his cheek while blood drips off his chin.

His jaw moves stiffly and his deep vocals come out with a threat shocking to me as he warns, “Don’t you dare speak of mother so disrespectfully, you insolent retard”.
