12 - Nightmare of the Past
Eugene's POV
Two years ago
"Eugene, can we go to the amusement park today? You promised you would take me on a date today."
Amy looks at me with that hope in her eyes like she usually does. She knows all too well that I'm a sucker for her begging eyes. I always fall for it, and she gets what she wants...ALWAYS.
I sigh and throw my head back onto the couch.
"What did I do to be punished with this little devil of a girlfriend?" I ask myself rhetorically. Amy laughs at me and comes to stand with her face over mine. She has that devilish smile on her face again...Oh boy. I'm in for something now.

Melissa's POV It was nearly past eleven p.m. Mom, dad, Clementine, Dominic and I, we were all waiting patiently for Rose and Eugene to come back to the villa. I hope Rose enjoyed her surprise. It took me almost a whole day to find the best wedding ring fitting for her. I know we barely know each other, but in these past few weeks, I've come to acknowledge Rose as not just one of my closest friends, but she feels like the sister I never had. We just clicked. As my thoughts carried me away, we heard the back door open. That must be them! We all stared at each other and started to converse to make ourselves look busy. It's been about three hours since we came back to the house. The original plan was to help Mama and Coraline with the Engagement Party setup, but they didn't want to hear anything about it. Eugene's POVIt's been nearly three hours since Rose and I came down to the banquet. Father stole me from enjoying my evening with her to become acquainted with some new business partners for future business deals.
