Chapter 15: Lowland Lane

"I'll be back," I told her.

I stood up and got my car. What the hell is Charlotte doing in the dungeon? Is he still crazy about James who turned her down a couple of times?

When I got there, I saw the guards were being pushed by someone. I expected it already that it was Charlotte who was throwing them everywhere.

"Cut it out," I calmly said, making her turn around. Her hands are full of blood but I'm pretty sure it was hers. Even though Charlotte always acts childish all the time, she wouldn't try to hurt or make a human being bleed.

"What are you doing here?" she irritatedly asked and her eyes went back to being dark brown.

"Well, I just received a call from someone who said you were causing a lot of mess here. I don't consider it as a false alarm from what I see," I politely told her. Being angry in a situation like this isn't my thing. I helped the guard in front of me to stand up. Thankfully, he wasn't injured.
