CHAPTER 11

I blinked several times before finally responding. I shook my head as an answer to his question and entered the car, quietly. 

The door stayed open on my side as he gently moved his head forward towards me.  He made sure our eyes met at the same level as he opened his mouth to speak.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you mad,” he started. “It’s just that…” As if he couldn’t continue his words, he bit his lower lip, not knowing how to say it. He yanked his head away from me as he messed up his hair. “Argh! Fuck!” he shouted. 

It looked like he was having a hard time explaining himself. 

I smiled secretly in my head. I was now a little relieved and contented with his reaction. I heaved a sigh and tried my best to act cold. “Get in,” I said, trying to look unfazed by his actions.

i am a silent reader for most of the time but i want you all to know i am not an expert at all. i do like the plot of the story although the grammar and the improper usage of some words confuses me as i read along. it may become less confusing after a thorough proofreading.
