Ethan’s POV

When I set my mind to do something, I prefer to finish it and that was what I set out to do while I stomped through the bushes, en route to find the woman that took Roy….and he's, you did hear me right, it was a lady that incapacitated four of my good men and absconded with a boy.

I was nothing if not intrigued enough to see who it was.

When my tech guru informed me of a possible cash transfer pinged around that district, I told him to follow up on it, if it may be the kidnapper.

Turns out that I was right.

The lady was smart, she hid in the bushes after all that happened, trying to dust off her tracks but we picked up on it.

She was somewhere around West Virginia which wasn't our territory so we had to move carefully. Very carefully, if I may add.

The goal was to go in and slip out like nothing had happened. I didn't tell either Caleb or Katherine of my findings because I didn't want them to come looking around, trying to take away what little leverage I had.
