Chapter 65

Sarah's POV

I woke up taking in a deep breath with oxygen around my nose. I couldn't utter a word but could only stare at Stacey who was seated beside me with her head on my bed.

I was still so worried about Mason and I didn't know how long I had been asleep.

The door opened revealing Ray, Hayden's friend. Once he saw he awake, he rushed towards me.

Stacey woke up from her sleep and rubbed her eyes to get a clearer view of my face.

"You're awake." She said.

I nodded my head watching them both stare at me. I wanted to ask about Mason, but I couldn't because there was no way I could talk.

"Hold on, I'll go get the doctor."

Ray nodded, and she immediately zoomed out of the room. I was quite impressed at how worried she was about me.

"I heard what happened in the news, Sarah." I heard Raymond say as he took a seat beside me.

My eyes were gradually becoming wet when I recalled that someone out there had tried to kill me, but instead, Mason got hurt.
