Chapter 53 A traitor?

Liya's POV

I cocked an eyebrow in surprise as I watched Gunter shove both Ryder and Hunter out of my room, a grim look etched on his features. As soon as they were outside, he banged the door in their faces and rested his back against it for a few seconds, muttering incoherently under his breath.

I stared at him wordlessly. My body was still exposed and I shivered slightly from the cool air, but I was too proud to toss my clothes back on.

"God, Liya," Gunter muttered, snapping out of his thoughts and walking over to me. He bent down to pick up the clothes I had tossed recklessly on the ground, and wrapped them around my naked body.

Still, I said nothing, still marvelling at the ballsy move he'd just pulled. From what I remembered, the Gunter I knew would never disagree with his brothers on anything. So to see him take the opposing end was strange. I had not decided if it was in a good way or a bad one.
