Chapter 13: Flowers For Who

Zion.

"Ivy, what are you talking—"

"You don't need to deny either of them," she said, cutting me off.

I couldn't answer. How did she know about me? Did one of my sisters tell her? Or did I give her the clues?

"Ivy?"

We were startled when Rosie came out of the house. She looks like she just got up from her sleep. Abbie used to tell me that Rosie's sleep is not so deep. She wakes up every time she hears a noise.

"Auntie," she said.

"What are you doing outside? It's freezing. And why are you here, Zion?" Rosie asked us.

"I just wanted to talk to Ivy, Rosie. We're done now. You both can go inside," I politely answered.

"Why are you so surprised that Ivy knew about us? Are you scared that she wouldn't accept you?" Charlotte arched her brow at me. I knew that she hated Ivy because of James and it was a reason for her to scare Ivy.

"Don't change the topic, Charlotte," I told her.

"I'm not changing the topic at all, little brother. Do you think I don't notice?
