Chapter fifty

Freya’s POV

"Hello?!" I yelled into the empty room and my words echoed loudly in the wide space.

Sometimes, I didn't even know why I even attempted when it wasn't like there was anyone who would respond to me.

The chains jangled when I moved, but still held me in place, not allowing me to move an inch. When I did move, it cut into my wrists.

*Is anyone there?!" In response, I heard the scuffle of boots around where I was, and my heart skipped a beat. I stayed still and waited for the door to open, while I was just starting to think about my next move. I wrapped the handle of the chains around my fingers, ready to swing it away which was a weapon.

I was surprised that my calls were even answered since it's been over three weeks since I was thrown down here, apparently, my captors had forgotten about me.

A lean, blond-haired guy opened the door and stepped in there, and was shooting angry looks from his eyes at me. "What the hell is wrong with you? Why all the yelling?!"
