Chapter thirty-nine

Shadow’s POV

I lit up the cigarette in my hand, took two puffs, and held it in before releasing a cloud of smoke from my lips.

The party above me was in full swing with men and women milling about in various stages of undress. Some were fully naked while some were half naked and dancing wildly, half-drunk out of their minds. A smile tugged at my lips when one of the ladies who was topless looked upwards in my direction, waggled her eyebrows at me suggestively, and seductively whined her waist.

I was quite busy tonight, but I briefly entertained the thought of having her spread under me while I do wicked things to her flesh.

A tall, heavily muscled man coming my way which I saw from the corner of my eyes sealed the deal though, and I shook my head sideways, saying no with an apologetic smile while I took another drag from my cigarette.
