Becca's POV

Everything seemed to fade away as I stood there, my heart pounding so loudly I feared it might burst out of my chest. My hands shook, my throat went dry, and my legs felt like they might give out. No, we had to get out of here and find the nearest hospital.

Clenching my hands, I walked closer to Ravi and gently grabbed his hands. "We have to move. Standing here isn't going to solve anything," I said, pulling him gently. As we walked, I could hear his ragged breaths and muffled winces. I had to be strong for his sake.
