Caleb’s POV

I placed my hand on my head and sighed deeply, watching forlornly as Katherine ran away like there was fire behind her.

"You're just gonna sit there?" Daniel stares at me in surprise.

My hands land on the table with a thud. "What do you want me to do? You saw how she ran out of this place…"

"Then go after her!" He pushes, waving in the direction Katherine just ran off. "She's feeling hurt and alone right now, the least you can do is help her alleviate the pain!"

"So how?" I asked with a clueless look on my face.

"Show her how much you care and love her. " He looks down at the table. "I haven't told you this, but I had a m-mate once…she was beautiful, loving, and kind."
